Ability to adjust forecast for departed resources

We’ve had a few mid-month immediate terminations, and the PMs are currently facing challenges updating the forecast for these terminated resources.
When a termination occurs, we change the max allocation from 1.00 to 0, which prevents any updates to the resource’s forecast. For example, if a resource’s last working day was April 15th, their profile is immediately disabled per Infosec policy. The PM now wants to remove the resource from the May-December forecast and adjust the April forecast to 0.5 instead of 1.00, but this isn’t currently possible.
Would it be possible to configure the resource forecast module to recognize when a resource leaves mid-month and allow forecasting up to their termination date?
