The person who made this mistake will also need to contact the person who was sent the approval to make them aware.
Resolution/Request: To resolve this, a pop-up dialogue at the point where the stage gate is clicked to notify the user that they are about to send the approval request or start and approval workflow, which allows them to confirm or cancel would be useful.
